The mechanical part of the install was easy. Windows did not recognize the battery at first and I had to do some programming magic to get it working. Not sure what was wrong, but it works fine now and was definitely worth the $40 to save the laptop.

I have not received the battery yet, but I thought I was purchasing from an Australian seller, but they are not in australia, I purchased a battery from another online store which I also thought was an Australian seller(but they weren't) a bit over a year ago. battery stopped working just outside of warranty, so i thought I would buy from a different seller that was an Australian seller for support and to be able to contact via phone if there was issues - but no fooled again
